What Is a CSA?
A CSA stands for “Community Supported Agriculture” and is a cooperative ran by a farm where communities have access to locally grown food and sourced products. When customers sign up for a farm CSA, they’re able to buy a “share” or “half share” of veggies and they get a set amount of veggies weekly.
CSA produce is super fresh, delicious and if you don’t like all the veggies available, you can always mix and match. PLUS, you get to know your farmer and the farm. Even take a jaunt or stroll on the farm if you want to.
Why join Stoneboat Farm CSA?
The best reason to join a CSA is the veggies! Every week you get a set of vegetables to bring home - and if they’re in your fridge you’ll eat them! Stoneboat is a farmers market style veggie booth so you get to take the veggies you know you like or try something new; it’s up to you.
The veggies taste great too. Stoneboat takes a ton of time sourcing good varieties and even more caring for the plants from seed to harvest. By buying your veggies local, you are supporting a vibrant local economy. With their many local vendors and partnerships, they can keep hundreds of thousands of dollars in the community and help build a thoughtful economy that will last.
HOW THE MAINSEASON CSA WORKS AT STONEBOAT FARM
CSA members buy in to the farm for a season with an upfront payment and in exchange, members receive a weekly portion of the harvest. Signing up for the main season veggie CSA buys you 24 weeks (May 16th through October 29st in 2023) of the very best veggies.

FULL SHARE
For $849 (2023 pricing) you get 24 weeks of approximately $38-$45 worth of vegetables. We consider it to be plenty of veggies to feed a family of four. Almost every week you can have an unlimited amount of cooking greens and salad when you pick up on the farm.
HALF SHARE
For $505 (2023 pricing) you get 24 weeks of approximately $23-$26 worth of veggies. Plenty of veggies for two veggie loving folks. The only difference is the amount, but you'll still get to choose what you want within certain parameters. Just like the full share, most every week you can have an unlimited amount of cooking greens and salad when you pick up on the farm.
